Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. Her past roles included being a presidential candidate and an anchor on TV at MSNBC. She's also frequently a contributor to The Huffington Post, a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, and co-host of The Hill's Rising with Saagar Ejeti. Enjeti and Ball announced in May 2021 that they would leave the show to start their own project, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is the co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on network programs such as CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball married Jonathan Dariyanani in 2020. Ball attributes her further fascination with politics to her experience after becoming an expectant mother in the 2008 primary elections and watching the results of the 2008 US presidential election during her time in Jordan. She was able to see the effect the election had on the citizens of her home country and was inspired to appreciate the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the 2010 election, losing to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 through July 2015. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015.
